L is seven

Our little princess is growing up.  Seven.  Such a wonderful age.  Such a wonderful little girl. 

L, we are so blessed to have you in our family.  You have such a kind heart and can be such a tender big sister.  You still love to snuggle in and have a book read to you, even though you can read all on your own now.  We are all a bit sad that you're in school full days now; you pointed out that you don't get as much time with us and it's true--the days pass too quickly.  Yet it's great to see you learning and gaining fluency in Spanish.  We are delighted to see your heart for the Lord; you've read through our Jesus Storybook Bible several times on your own, as well as a few other Bible story books we have, you love worship songs, and you like to lead the prayers at meal time.  You continue to be an artist and love writing and illustrating your own books.  You have shown perseverance sports too, playing soccer, running with Mommy, passing the swim test, and taking your first ballet class.  You have a goofy sense of humor and a ready hug.  We can't imagine life without you!  I hope this year is full of love and great memories in the making as you approach your FAVORITE number, 8! :)
