Strawberry Picking

Since it's virtually impossible to get both kids to look at the camera at the same time, let alone both smile at said camera, I often end up with a bunch of pics that I'm not quite sure are print-worthy.

Recently my aunt decided to print a bunch of pics of Lauren and her cousin Remington on a train trip. The kids are never smiling and looking, but they have interesting expressions in every shot. She decided to make the most of this and add humorous captions to each picture,
resulting in a very entertaining "brag book."

When I looked at the pictures from our annual strawberry picking excursion , I knew they needed captions, but I wasn't feeling particularly witty. So I decided to do a caption contest, mckmama style. But since I'm clearly not blog-popular, I decided to run this contest on facebook. Here are the results!

Pick my own--are you kidding me?
Do you realize we can buy these things in the store?
(Jaime)
(Theresa)

I know we parked around here somewhere...
(Matt)
Can we still escape?

Jackson, not yet ready to work the fields, as he had prepared for a life in academia.
What is the meaning of life? Why are we here?
(Henry, Matt)

Just remember, we're doing this for mommy!
We can work hard, but if all else fails we can rely on our good looks.
(Henry & Blake)

I'll walk ahead to make sure it's safe...

Jackson: I want to squish that strawberry like a bug!
(Jayne)

They're good but not as good as my upper lip.
(Natasha)

Jackson: I shouldn't have eaten those last 10...
Lauren: Don't worry Jackson, I'll handle the press!
(Henry Sr. and Blake)

Lauren: Heh, heh--Jackson doesn't know I licked that last one.
Jackson: Where do I go to throw up?
There goes Lisa with those strawberry-picking fingers again! OH THE PAIN!!!
(Julie, Henry, Natasha)
