Lauren's birthday was surrounded with excitement this year. Of course, Friday was Halloween, and both kids could fully participate in the trick-or-treating this year and in the sugar-y treats that have come each day since. I am wishing I had done a Tinkerbell costume for Lauren, it would have gone nicely with J's pirate, but she did make a cute little mouse.
On Sunday we had a combined birthday party with my side of the family, for Lauren, Amy and Blake.
Tuesday we went out and voted, went to storytime at the library, and made the most of Indian summer by visiting the park before AND after nap....why not??
Wednesday was the actual birthday. I went into her room with her birthday balloon and she knew right away it was the long anticipated November 5! We had a good day and are looking forward to celebrating with Matt's family tomorrow!
