Our sweet girl has hit the delightful age of 5.
5 years since she surprised us with her arrival, 22 days early.
5 years since we gasped at her dark hair and alert little eyes staring at us from a small, wise face.
5 years since our hearts were enlarged beyond what we had known possible.
And it's been a privilege to watch her grow and learn, absorbing knowledge like a sponge, talking and asking and imagining. At the age of 2 she had learned the word "persevere"--not only to say it in context, but to do it on a regular basis with great determination. We hope she never loses that quality and pray God will use her for great things in His kingdom!
