We enjoyed a trip with Pake (Frisian for Grampa) and Oma (Dutch for Gramma) last week to the Binder Park Zoo. I had never been there before and it was as good as everyone promised it would be. The kids loved seeing the animals almost as much as I did. ;) I believe that giraffes may be my new favorite animal--i love their big gentle eyes. Those tongues are a little crazy though.

That first photo is awesome!!! Giraffes are my favorites :) Yes, the tongues are crazy long, but love those eyes, lashes, and the toothless chewing action.
