One of the best parenting moments so far:
Lauren was playing with her doll (which she does a LOT, basically I think it's her way of dealing with the fact that mommy has to give so much extra attention to her baby brother) and I think she was playing like it was time for her baby to go to bed. She held the doll's plastic hands together and said "Fold your hands, baby." She then proceeded to say an approximation of a prayer that I'm pretty sure Matt has said with her on a nightly basis, but STILL, she said it unprompted in the sweetest little voice: "Dear Jesus, Help Mommy safe... Love her...so much. Amen."
My heart overflows.
